Job summary

MG2 Design is seeking an Architectural Project Manager for Data Centers to lead project teams across all design and construction phases. You will handle contract management, design development, permitting, and construction administration while maintaining client relationships and MG2's design excellence standards.

Responsibilities include schedule and budget oversight, KPls, and coordination with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
• Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated expertise utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Demonstrated professional expertise with Data Centers is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams through all project phases, ensuring deliverables meet contract, schedule, and MG2 quality standards.
• Ensure contracts are in place prior to starting execution of deliverables.
• Create and maintain milestone-based schedules and staffing plans.
• Develop detailed project charters and QA/QC plans for all work.
• Assist with proposals and RFP responses.
• Monitor financial status and perform regular reviews with leadership.
• Review monthly invoicing and consultant billing.
• Produce weekly project updates and distribute to stakeholders.
• Lead internal and external project meetings and participate in QA reviews.
• Oversee Construction Administration activities, including RFI and submittal logs.
• Conduct site visits and punch lists; support project closeout procedures.
• Facilitate debriefs and opportunities for service improvement.
