Description

The Data & Business Systems Analyst is responsible for managing enterprise data, business applications (ERP, CRM, and related systems), and reporting solutions across the Stewart Companies portfolio. This role ensures data integrity, designs integrations, and develops decision support systems to enhance business operations.

Reporting to the VP of IT, this hands-on role requires a strong technical understanding of data management, SQL, and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will work closely with business leaders to assess requirements, build integrations, and deliver insightful reporting solutions that drive strategic decision-making.

Essential Functions

1. Lead and manage enterprise application and data integration projects involving both internal and external resources.
2. Design, develop, and maintain data integrations across ERP, CRM, and other business applications.
3. Build and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards using BI tools like QuickSight or Power BI.
4. Work with leadership to define decision support system requirements and design solutions for business intelligence and reporting.
5. Ensure data integrity and security across applications and integrations.
6. Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
7. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures related to business applications, focusing on compliance and security.
8. Provide end-user training and documentation for business applications and reporting tools.
9. Manage projects and resources, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.

Requirements

1. BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience managing enterprise applications and data.
3. 2+ years of leadership experience in an applications or development team.
4. Expertise in SQL (SQL Server, MySQL)—ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
5. Experience in Python for data processing and automation.
6. Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems (implementation, integration, and support).
7. Familiarity with BI tools (QuickSight, Power BI, or similar) for reporting and dashboard development.
8. Strong project management and change management skills.
9. Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
