Job summary

LMI seeks a Data Management and Automation Specialist to analyze, automate, and sustain administrative workflows for a Joint Staff element in Tampa, FL. The role requires on-site support and an active TS/SCI clearance, with periodic travel to supported commands and industry locations.

Build and maintain data solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Excel. You will gather requirements, design dashboards and automated workflows, ensure data quality, and provide user training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Four+ years of experience in data management, BI, automation, analytics or related.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Excel or similar tools.
• Experience translating business requirements into data models, dashboards, and automated workflows.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, access control, records management and CM principles.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and user training skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current workflows to identify data gaps, manual handoffs, and opportunities for automation.
• Design, build, test, and maintain data management and workflow automation solutions using Microsoft 365 tools.
• Develop dashboards, trackers, automated notifications, approvals, forms, and reports to improve visibility and reduce cycle time.
• Integrate data from multiple headquarters sources while preserving data lineage and access controls.
• Establish data quality controls, validation, reconciliation, and issue tracking.
