Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a Data Management and Automation Specialist to analyze and automate administrative workflows for a Joint Staff element. On-site in the Tampa region, you will build data solutions, improve reporting, and keep HQ data accurate and accessible.

Ideal candidates combine data discipline with practical automation skills, translating user needs into reliable and secure solutions for government purposes, with periodic travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in data analytics, information systems, CS, or related field.
• Four+ years of experience in data management, BI, workflow automation, analytics, or related discipline.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Excel, or comparable tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data models, dashboards, and automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows to identify data gaps, manual handoffs, duplication, and automation opportunities.
• Design, build, test, and maintain data management and automation solutions using Microsoft 365 tools.
• Develop dashboards, trackers, automated notifications, approvals, forms, and reports to improve visibility and reduce cycle time.
• Integrate data from multiple sources while preserving data lineage and access controls.
• Establish data quality controls, validation rules, reconciliation, and issue tracking.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into practical technical solutions.
• Document data definitions, architecture, and user guides; provide user training and support.
• Monitor performance, resolve defects, and coordinate updates with IT and cybersecurity.
