Job summary

LMI seeks a Data Management and Automation Specialist to analyze, automate, and sustain administrative workflows for a Joint Staff element. The specialist builds data solutions, improves reporting, and keeps headquarters information accurate and accessible.

This on-site role in the National Capital Region requires an active TS/SCI clearance and occasional travel to commands, units, and industry locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 4+ years in data management, BI, automation, or analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Excel or similar tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data models and automated workflows.
• Knowledge of data governance, access control, and data quality principles.
• Excellent written communication and ability to train users.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current administrative workflows to identify data gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Design, build, test, and maintain data management and automation solutions using Microsoft 365 tools.
• Develop dashboards, trackers, notifications, forms, and reports to improve visibility and reduce cycle time.
• Integrate data from multiple sources while preserving data lineage and access controls.
• Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, and issue tracking.
