Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited is seeking a data‑driven analyst to research, interpret, and transform reference data for Equity and Fund securities across global markets. The role emphasizes automation and analytical excellence, with a two‑month training program to build domain expertise and proficiency with the databases of record.

The incumbent will collaborate with Evaluated Pricing, Index, and Analytics teams to deliver accurate data, build scalable pipelines, and accelerate workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years corporate-level experience or 2+ years in reference data/financial operations.
• Strong data science foundation with applying analytical and technical methods to real-world data problems.
• High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex legal/financial documentation.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong Excel skills with data handling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and transform reference data from documents and reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Apply financial/legal subject matter understanding to data extraction and interpretation.
• Gather required documents via research and outreach to issuers, trustees, underwriters, and other market participants.
• Support data and product inquiries with additional analysis.
• Identify data quality issues, trends, and gaps; stay aware of market practices and new terminology.
• Develop automation to drive workflow efficiency and improve data quality.
• Collaborate to scope, prioritize, and deliver automation improvements with measurable impact.
• Build automated data extraction, transformation, and validation pipelines for production workflows.
• Communicate with market participants to obtain reference data and resolve discrepancies.
