Job summary

DRW in Chicago seeks a Data Analyst, Stewardship to support onboarding, management and maintenance of datasets for traders and researchers. You will work with technology, front office, operations, research and risk management in a fast-paced environment.

This role centers on production support for EOD valuation and reference data, diagnosing issues, and turning fixes into scalable solutions with engineering.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Python with troubleshooting data issues and quick fixes.
• Experience building data quality metric reports and runbooks.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg back-office-files, S3/Athena, and Bloomberg Terminal is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support EOD valuation data and reference data for PnL; cover evening hours.
• Respond to global requests via Slack and email to manage reference data.
• Investigate data appearances by tracing to source systems and business logic.
• Diagnose data problems under pressure and build ad-hoc scripts to fix them.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams on systemic issues.
