Job summary

RCT Systems, Inc. in McLean, Virginia seeks a senior-level Data Architect/SME to support a mission-focused program covering data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management.

You will design cloud-based data infrastructure, build ETL pipelines, work across AWS, Hadoop/HDFS, Cloudera, Spark and SQL/NoSQL, and collaborate with diverse teams while communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data management on AWS.
• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Proficiency in Python and ETL pipeline development.
• Experience with big-data tools (HDFS/Cloudera/Spark/Presto) and SQL/NoSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and support cloud-based data infrastructure and data management solutions.

Senior-level Data Architect/SME supporting a customer mission focused on data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management. The role works across data engineering, software engineering, security, DevOps, application development, data science, and program management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support cloud-based data infrastructure and data management solutions.
• Build and execute ETL/data processing pipelines.
• Work across AWS, Hadoop/HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL environments.
• Integrate data flows with industry-standard systems, including Niagara Falls.
