Job summary
RCT Systems seeks a Senior-level Data Architect/ SME to support data acquisition, engineering, and management across multiple teams in a mission-focused environment.
The role covers cloud infrastructure design, ETL pipeline development, and cross-functional collaboration using AWS, Hadoop/HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL. Requires TS/SCI with polygraph and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Cloud infrastructure and data management, particularly AWS.
- TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Data engineering and processing.
- Python.
- Building and executing ETL pipelines.
- Big-data technologies such as HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, and Presto.
- SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Data-flow integration and mission-oriented data systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and support cloud-based data infrastructure and data management solutions.
- Build and execute ETL/data processing pipelines.
- Work across AWS, Hadoop/HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL environments.
- Integrate data flows with industry-standard systems, including Niagara Falls.
- Collaborate across contractor teams, customer personnel, and external stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work independently and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
