• Building and executing ETL pipelines
• Integrating data flows with industry-standard systems such as Niagara Falls.
• Working independently in a fast-paced environment and being a proactive problem solver.
• Providing clear and concise communications for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Title: Data Architect

Location: McLean, VA

Description

The Data Architect will work on a team supporting the customer with data engineering and operations, software engineering, security engineering, DevOps engineering, application development, data science, and program management. The position requires data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management tasks. The role will require communication and collaboration across organizational boundaries, with other contractor teams, Customer staff, and external stakeholders.

Applicants must have experience with:

• cloud infrastructure and data management.


• multiple OS environments including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.


• cloud environments, including AWS.


• development environments including AWS, Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS), Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL.
  conducting data processing activities.


• Python


• building and executing ETL pipelines


• integrating data flows with industry standard systems such as Niagra Falls


• working independently in a fast-paced environment and be a proactive problem solver


• providing clear and concise communications for both technical and non-technical audiences
  

Preferred (but not required) skills

• Knowledge of targeting workflows, tools and environments


• Experience with Large Language Models and agentic workflows.


• Experience with graphical databases such as Neo4J


• Experience working with a hard target mission area.
