Job summary

Larimer County Assessor's Office is seeking an Applications Support Specialist to support and improve county data systems. You will learn from senior staff, gaining exposure to multiple data processes and vendor-supported applications, primarily RealWare, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role offers a hybrid in-office/remote setup after training, with regular Monday-to-Friday hours and potential on-site responsibilities across county facilities.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years related applications support or systems support experience required.
• Reliable transportation to work in any County facility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Data Extraction & Reporting: state-mandated and tax authority reports, TIF tracking and reporting, audit reporting, and ad hoc queries.
• Dashboards & Data Visualization: build Power BI/Tableau dashboards for staff workflows and management decisions.
• Training & Project Support: write documentation/training materials, test scripts, coaching staff, and manage small projects.
• CAMA Table Administration: set up/validate annual factors and reference tables affecting valuation/taxation.
• Application Support: troubleshoot issues and assist users of department applications.
• System Access & Security: manage access profiles and user roles.
• Issue Resolution & Vendor Coordination: track issues and coordinate with IT/vendors.
• Continuous Improvement: contribute to design/improvement of applications/workflows.
• Tax Increment Financing (TIF): administer areas per statutes, track changes, report values.
