Job summary

Archdiocese of Denver is seeking a Data and Payment Processing Analyst to join our mission-driven team. You will ensure accurate data management, timely payment processing, and clear donor communications, supporting ministries across the Archdiocese.

The role emphasizes attention to privacy, organizational rigor, and courteous service while handling inquiries via phone and email. A post-secondary degree and experience in data entry, accounts receivable, and CRM systems are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in a relevant field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in customer service, data entry, accounts receivable and general ledger.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Raiser's Edge CRM; data entry and payment processing.
  • Strong customer engagement and professional phone and written communication.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: First point of contact, answering inbound calls professionally and resolving inquiries.
  • Data Management: Entering and maintaining sensitive information across databases with audits and proper recordkeeping.
  • Correspondence: Generating and mailing acknowledgment letters and tax receipts to donors.
  • Administrative Support: Filing documents accurately and supporting efficient team operations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Customer Service: First point of contact. Professionally answering inbound calls with energy and a positive attitude. Resolving inquiries swiftly and effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction for all stakeholders.

  • Data Management: Accurately entering and maintaining sensitive, confidential information across multiple databases. Performing internal audits and organizing all transactions for proper recordkeeping to support smooth operations.

  • Correspondence: Generating and mailing acknowledgment letters and tax receipts to donors, ensuring they feel valued and supported. Maintaining effective communication between the Archdiocese and its community.

  • Administrative Support: Ensuring all documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner, supporting the efficient functioning of the team and maintaining high standards of service.


Requirements

What We’re Looking For

A practicing Catholic eager to carry out the mission of the Archdiocese to rescue all people in Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father.



  • Post-secondary education required; an associate’s degree or higher in relevant field preferred.

  • 2-5 years of experience in customer service, data entry, accounts receivable and general ledger preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM databases (e.g., Raiser's Edge), with experience in data entry, payment processing, and ensuring data integrity.

  • Strong customer engagement skills, providing accurate guidance on giving options and addressing inquiries through phone and written communication with professionalism.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing demands, especially during peak periods.

  • Collaborative team player with excellent problem-solving skills, committed to supporting team goals, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding the organization’s mission and values.
