Job summary

Archdiocese of Denver is seeking a part-time HRIS Administrator to manage HRIS records, configurations, and reporting. The role involves collaborating with a fellow administrator to support employees, leaders, parishes, schools, and ministries.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in HRIS, with Paylocity experience preferred, and a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and service orientation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5 years of HR or HRIS administration experience.
  • Experience with HRIS configuration, reporting, data management, and troubleshooting.
  • Paylocity or comparable HRIS experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.

  • HRIS Administration & User Support: Maintain HRIS records, workflows, system settings, and user access; troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal partners and vendors as needed.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure accurate and confidential HRIS data, conduct audits, create reports and dashboards, and identify trends or recurring issues.
  • System Improvement & Documentation: Support system enhancements, integrations, testing, and process improvements while maintaining clear procedures and user resources.
  • Training & Collaboration: Provide HRIS training and guidance while building collaborative, service-oriented relationships across the organization.

Job description

Are you ready to use your HR systems expertise in service of the Church? The Archdiocese of Denver is seeking a part-time, detail-oriented, and service-minded HRIS Administrator to support the systems and processes that serve our employees, leaders, parishes, schools, and ministries.

This position will be paired with another half-time HRIS Administrator and the two will work closely together to accomplish all tasks and needs of the position.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Be a fully initiated Catholic in the communion of the Catholic Church and intentionally living out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041-2043)
  • Align with the values and mission of the Catholic Church.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5 years of HR or HRIS administration experience.
  • Experience with HRIS configuration, reporting, data management, and troubleshooting.
  • Paylocity or comparable HRIS experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exercises discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
