Job summary

FYUL is seeking a Data and BI Manager to join a fast-growing, ecommerce-focused environment. You’ll steer reporting, analytics, and data warehousing initiatives while leading a cross-functional team in a fast-paced setting in Cincinnati, OH.

The role emphasizes governance, performance, and confidentiality as you drive scalable reporting and business insights across major brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data field or related field.
• Advanced SQL skills and fluency.
• Knowledge of data programming languages (R, Python) and APIs.
• Mastery of BI concepts and ability to explain to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with leadership, application systems, and project management.
• Experience with BigQuery or Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise reporting and analytics activities.
• Maintain, support, and upgrade reports, dashboards, and data warehouse.
• Guide the team on deployment of information and reports using strong communication skills.
• Manage data warehouse and reporting infrastructure to scale reporting while keeping performance high.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design development, and implementation of organizational reporting and analytics
• Maintain, support, and upgrade reports, dashboards, and data warehouse
• Apply proven communication skills, problem solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide the team on issues related to the deployment of information and reports
• Managing data warehouse and reporting infrastructure to help scale reporting needs while maintaining high-performance environment for reporting
• Audit to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in some sort of Data type field
• Advanced understanding of SQL (fluent in SQL)
• Understanding of data programming languages (R, Python, etc.) and APIs
• A mastery of Business Intelligence concepts and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience of successful and effective application systems leadership and project management
• Experience with the usage of BigQuery and Snowflake data warehouses is a plus
