Job summary

Fyul is seeking a Data Analytics Team Lead to guide a small team of analysts across multiple product and business domains. You will drive cross-functional data initiatives, mentor analysts, and partner with product leadership to maximize impact through data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes strong SQL, Snowflake/Looker capabilities, and experience with AB testing and statistical methods. A marketplace or product background is a plus, with remote-friendly, flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team of data analysts.
• Prior product/ marketplace experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance, with regular 1-on-1s and development planning.

• Own and prioritize the analytics backlog with Heads of Product to back top initiatives.
• Mentor peers in data usage and value realization across the company.
• Stay current with analytical techniques and AI applications relevant to FYUL.
• Participate in hiring to attract top analytics talent.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Data Analytics Team Lead to join our efforts in taking over the print-on-demand industry. You will work in an international environment with talented data fellows in a casual atmosphere.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Lead a team of up to 5 data analysts working with product and business teams across Existing Merchants Growth, Commerce, Finance, Pricing, Customer Support, Enterprise domains
• Guide the data analysis work across wide range of product areas, customer behaviour, growth and support, payments and pricing product and others
• Performance management and evaluation, regular 1-to-1 meetings to discuss workload and personal development of data analysts
• Drive high impact analytical initiatives across the organisation
• Build relationships and manage wide array of stakeholders
• Create, prioritise and proactively communicate the backlog of the analytics team. Work together with the Heads of Product to align the backlog to the top impactful initiatives in the supported areas
• Lead efforts to enhance data driveness in the company. Mentor peers and stakeholders in data usage and its value
• Participate in hiring process to bring the best product and data analytics talent to FYUL
• Equip the team with latest analytical and statistical techniques and advancements relevant to FYUL business
• Track record of managing priorities across wide stakeholder groups
• 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis
• 1+ years of experience leading team of data analysts
• Previous experience in a product company or a marketplace is a plus
• Prior experience applying AI in a data context is a plus, but not expected. A strong curiosity and eagerness to experiment with AI and integrate it into workflows is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to present and clearly articulate summarized data analysis results
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses
• Hands-on experience with BI tools to create interactive dashboards and visualizations (Looker is a plus)
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data quality principles
• Hands-on experience with event tracking and product analytics tools (Amplitude is a plus)
• Solid understanding of statistics and AB testing. Hands-on experience with product experimentation.
• Empathy and ability to work with employees with different professional and cultural background
