PACCAR is seeking an analytics expert who will provide Business Intelligence and advanced data analytics across Sales & Marketing, Used Equipment Sales, and Credit. You will source data from multiple platforms, integrate it for business needs, and develop analytic products to improve efficiency.

Success depends on curiosity, comfort in ambiguity, a passion for learning, and strong analytic skills to build dashboards and models using SQL, Tableau, Python/R across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics/Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency with analytic programming languages (R, Python).
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with SQL querying and relational DB platforms (SQL Server, Snowflake).
• Excel expertise with VBA scripting and advanced functions.
• Data visualization using Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Data Science initiatives by providing robust analysis and developing analytic tools focusing on pricing optimization, product development, risk identification, and customer identification within a complex environment
• Deliver timely, relevant, and accurate analytic results to business users at all levels
• Employ AI/ML algorithms for models supporting pricing, customer identification, rate setting and other processes
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets
• Develop high-performance SQL queries to support reporting and analysis
• Create and support executive dashboards using Tableau
• Provide rapid responses to ad-hoc analytic requests
• Expand analytic capacity by developing automated deployment pipelines, APIs, and data processing applications
• Maintain working relationships with IT and regional finance to enable digital initiatives
• Develop and present data science solutions to senior managers
