Job summary

Peraton, in Herndon, VA, seeks a Data Analytics and Reporting Manager to lead a team within the Department of State Consular Systems Modernization program. The role focuses on software development vision, agile delivery, and cross-team coordination to support DOS customers.

You will supervise agile teams, ensure requirements are translated into actionable backlogs, and maintain security considerations across projects. A DoD clearance and BI tool experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 10 years of experience.
• 5 years of technical lead experience with software reporting projects.
• Hands-on experience with reporting/analytical tools across the full SDLC.
• Experience supporting a system implementation with agile methodologies.
• Experience with ALM tooling: version control, CI, code scanning, testing & issue tracking.
• Experience across cloud and on-prem environments; modernization/migration tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefings and proposals.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher); interim ok.

Responsibilities

• Lead system and software delivery in an Agile lifecycle including deployments and ops.
• Align project backlogs with customer priorities and ensure they are addressed.
• Collaborate with architecture to map requirements to constraints.
• Ensure software compliance standards are met by agile teams.
• Supervise agile teams and oversee delivery of modernized services.
• Identify and resolve team deficiencies.
• Propose corrective actions and process improvements.
• Participate in customer planning sessions and project implementations.
• Maintain frequent inter-organizational and customer contact on agile teamwork.
• Perform line manager duties: performance reviews, timesheet reviews, and travel approvals.
• Oversee security considerations.
