Job summary

Galent in Hartford, CT is seeking a seasoned Data & Analytics Program Manager to lead large-scale modernization from legacy SSIS/SQL Server to Snowflake and cloud-native architectures. You will serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders, data engineering teams and leadership, driving discovery, design, migration, validation and stabilization.

The role requires managing distributed teams onshore and offshore, ensuring timelines, quality benchmarks and cost controls, while

Qualifications

• Experience leading data modernization programs across large enterprises.
• Insurance domain knowledge is a plus (preferred).
• Exposure to AI-driven data engineering automation frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data modernization programs including discovery, design, migration, validation and stabilization.
• Drive execution across multiple pods and cross-functional teams onshore and offshore.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks and cost controls; provide technical mentorship.
• Drive governance forums, executive program reviews, and risk management activities.
• Interface with business stakeholders, data engineering teams and leadership to align requirements.

Job Title: Data & Analytics Program Manager

Location: Hartford, CT

Job Description:

Seasoned Data Modernization Program Manager to lead largescale enterprise data transformation initiatives This role will drive end-to-end modernization from legacy platforms e.g. SSIS SQL Server to modern cloud-based architectures e.g. Snowflake while acting as the primary interface between business stakeholders' data engineering teams and leadership.

• Experience in Data Analytics Data Engineering Program Management
• Strong experience in Insurance domain PC preferred
• Exposure to AI driven data engineering automation frameworks
• Experience transitioning programs into Managed Services MSM modelsProven ability to manage distributed teams onshore offshore
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of

• Snowflake data warehousing performance cost optimization

Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery Execution

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data modernization programs discovery design migration validation and stabilization

• Drive strategic conversations with the customer
• Provide strong oversight on data architecture migration approach and target state design
• Drive transformation from legacy ETL SSIS to modern cloud based data platforms Snowflake
• Ensure data quality validation reconciliation and downstream system alignment

Stakeholder Business Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for business client stakeholders and leadership
• Drive requirement alignment with business domains and downstream
• Lead governance forums Executive Program Reviews WSR budgeting MOC

Governance Risk Compliance

• Establish strong program governance reporting cadence and escalation management
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data migration downstream integration and performance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory audit and data governance standards
• Act as data practice anchor for the account
• Support solutioning estimations and SOW development for supplemental data programs
• Drive standardization best practices and continuous improvement
