Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Product Director, IT Data & Analytics to translate the data roadmap into value-producing products across the enterprise. You will bridge business needs in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance with IT, shaping a backlog, guiding data engineers, and aligning with architecture and governance practices.

You will not code daily but must possess enough technical depth to discuss designs, drive feature decisions, and coach a team of Product Owners and Analysts while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in data and analytics with 5+ years leading a team.
• 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial environment with plant ops exposure.
• Experience as a Product Owner/Manager in Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
• Experience managing analytics delivery with internal, offshore and partner resources.
• Experience presenting to senior business stakeholders (director/VP).
• Experience budgeting portfolio or program budgets and managing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Data & Analytics and business leadership across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance and Procurement.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year data and analytics backlog aligned to enterprise objectives.
• Define business cases, benefits and success measures for analytics investments.
• Own product vision, roadmap and backlog for the data and analytics portfolio.
• Author epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives with Scrum Masters.
• Plan releases and coordinate user acceptance testing, go-live and transition to ongoing support.
• Coach and develop a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts.
