Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions seeks a Data and Analytics Manager to bridge business needs with the data function in Dayton, MN. You will gather requirements, ensure data quality, and deliver dashboards and analyses across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership.

You will lead data projects, partner with IT and vendors, mentor analysts, and drive data governance while enabling self-service insights for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related role.
• Experience building dashboards/reports in Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge.
• Ability to translate business questions into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather and prioritize data/reporting needs.
• Translate business questions into technical data requirements for extraction, transformation, and visualization.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Own data quality end-to-end and resolve data integrity issues with IT/Engineering.
• Document data definitions, metrics, and reporting logic for consistency across the organization.
• Manage intake and prioritization of new data/reporting requests.
• Analyze trends to surface insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors on data infrastructure and tooling.
• Train users on accessing and using dashboards and self-service reporting tools.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, and security compliance.
• Mentor junior analysts and stay current on analytics best practices.
