Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Data Analyst Intern for the 2026-27 school year in Amarillo, TX. This part-time, in-person internship supports data reporting, visualization, and data preparation for construction projects using Excel, Smartsheet, and Power BI.

You will extract and clean data, build dashboards, and collaborate with project teams to drive informed decisions while balancing campus commitments, roughly 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis tools such as MS Power BI and Python.
• Experience with data reporting tools such as MS Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Teams) and basic computer networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources for analysis and reporting.
• Create reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Maintain reports and dashboards for Department and Project Managers.
• Assist in data strategy efforts, including updating data flowcharts.
