Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America is seeking a Data Analyst to join the expanding Data team. You will gather, analyze, and translate data into actionable insights to support project outcomes and automate reporting workflows.

The role emphasizes creating reports with Power BI, Smartsheet, and Excel, leveraging AI tools for DAX development, and maintaining data accuracy across multiple sources. This is an in-person position reporting to the Data Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Science/Management or related field.
Five or more years of professional data analysis and BI reporting experience, including statistical analysis and data science preferred.
Proficiency with data cleansing, visualization, and dashboarding; ability to create semantic data models.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams to align analytics with project priorities using data from multiple platforms.
Create and enhance reports and dashboards using Power BI, Smartsheet, and Excel.
Develop data analytics tools to improve predictability and operational efficiency for project teams.
Build semantic models for reporting and AI work and deliver insights to executives and clients.
Aggregate data from diverse sources and apply advanced visualization techniques for clear insights.
