Job summary

TxDOT is offering a Data Management Intern position at the Austin Stassney Campus. The role focuses on data management, reporting, and exploring AI/ML concepts to improve decision-making across the agency.

Ideal candidates are students in Information Science, Data Science, Economics, or related programs, with in-person reporting required for the internship duration. Part-time during fall/spring and full-time in summer, onsite.

Qualifications

• Must be a student in high school or other educational institution.
• Must be at least 16 years of age and enrolled in a school or college.
• Preference given to students in Information Science, Data Science, Economics, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data management, data analysis, reporting, and documentation at the Austin Stassney Campus.
• Support AI/ML initiatives, including model training and evaluation.
• Process data requests and support existing analytics reports and dashboards.
• Assist with data exploration and preparation of program documents.
