Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join our global supply chain team in Tallahassee, FL. You will transform data from ERP and planning tools, build Power BI dashboards, and help deliver actionable insights that improve supplier performance and forecasting accuracy.

We expect current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Python.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling, transformation, and reporting, including advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, or automation tools.
• Proficiency with Power BI and the ability to create compelling dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, the Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools such as Python.

Responsibilities

• Transform supply chain data from ERP systems, planning tools, and supplier reports into structured datasets that support business decisions.
• Create and enhance Power BI dashboards and visualizations that provide visibility into supplier capacity, material availability, quality performance, and customer-related metrics.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and deliver insights that improve supply chain performance.
• Support the development of AI-enabled analytics solutions, including Copilot-based assistants, AI agents, and machine learning applications that enhance forecasting and decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to document processes, share best practices, and contribute to initiatives that improve on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
