Job summary

Astec Industries is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support procurement data collection and dashboard development. You will work with subsidiaries to understand current systems and help simplify and improve processes.

You will gain hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx, and learn real-world data analytics and reporting practices as part of the Strategic Procurement team.

Qualifications

• Experience with BI tools and data visualization.
• Ability to collect and organize procurement-related data.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to business users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify processes and procedures that are inefficient or repetitive and seek ways to streamline, eliminate, and automate.
• Create best-in-class/compelling visualization of data, dashboards, tools, and reports that supports the interpretation and conclusions that drives key decisions for leadership.
• Drive BI penetration into the Business' processes, and help the Enterprise with strategic, tactical, and operational decision making using BI toolsets.
