Onward Search is seeking a Data Analyst Consultant for a financial services client in New York. This 4-month contract (possible extension) focuses on turning customer, agent, and business data into actionable insights through dashboards and data products that inform strategic decisions.

You will gather and transform data from multiple sources, develop intuitive Tableau dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, communicate findings, and drive reporting adoption across

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in data visualization and data science.
• Experience developing dashboards supported by data pipelines.
• Experience with Tableau and scripting or query languages such as R, Python, and SQL.
• Strong written, verbal, data storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Proficiency with AI-powered tools, PowerPoint, and Excel, along with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive, interactive dashboards that translate business requirements into actionable visualizations.
• Gather, integrate, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, relationships, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
