KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Data Analyst Consultant to support an enterprise analytics function in New York City. You will transform customer, stakeholder, and operational data into actionable insights through dashboards, visualization, and advanced analytics, partnering with leaders to drive decisions.

This hybrid role emphasizes data storytelling, translating complex data into clear metrics, and delivering executive-facing dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data visualization, or data science.
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and automation.
• Proven ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and other reporting tools.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful metrics, KPIs, reports, and analytical solutions.
• Gather, integrate, clean, and transform data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and dashboard functionality.
• Build and maintain repeatable data preparation and transformation processes.
• Apply data visualization best practices to effectively communicate complex findings.
• Monitor dashboard performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Present insights, recommendations, and reporting solutions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support data governance, documentation, and quality assurance initiatives.
