OnTrac is hiring a Data Analyst & Bi Senior Specialist to design, develop, and maintain clear analytics and reporting solutions. Expect dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses that turn data into meaningful business insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of industry principles and operational event data concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of standard office software and data analytics technologies, including Power BI dashboards and SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Dashboards & recurring reporting: Build, refine, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• KPIs, metrics & data visualization: Translate goals into actionable KPIs and visuals.

Location: Remote, East or Central - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $84,000 - $105,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $84,000 - $126,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

The Data Analytics Senior Specialist designs, develops, and maintains clear, reliable reporting and analytics solutions that help business teams understand performance, identify key drivers, and make informed decisions. This role builds and improves dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses that translate data into meaningful business stories. The position partners with cross-functional teams to turn business questions and operational goals into clearly defined metrics, trends, and user-friendly visualizations.

The Must-Haves

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Deep understanding of industry principles and operational event data concepts
• In-depth knowledge of standard office software and data analytics technologies, including Power BI dashboards and SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience translating analytical results into clear, actionable deliverables

Your Mission In Motion

• Dashboards & recurring reporting: Build, refine, and maintain user-friendly dashboards and recurring reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, supporting weekly and monthly business reviews through established metric definitions.
• KPIs, metrics & data visualization: Translate operational goals, business questions, and reporting needs into actionable KPIs, clearly defined metrics, trends, and easy-to-use visuals that support decision-making.
• Data visibility & process improvement: Partner with business teams to identify, scope, and address gaps in data visibility, including missing fields, unclear definitions, and inconsistent processes, with guidance from senior Analytics or Engineering partners.
• Reporting quality & metric governance: Improve reporting consistency and quality by following documentation standards and applying shared definitions and metric-governance frameworks.
• Ad hoc analysis & business insights: Provide ad hoc analyses that support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, leadership inquiries, and broader business decision-making.
