Job summary

CBRE Data Analyst in Denver will perform basic analysis to ensure recommendations are backed by data research and findings, contributing to the Data Science & Analytics function. You will review data to support improved effectiveness and predicted outcomes for business intelligence.

You will use SQL and Python to develop and maintain queries, dashboards, and data models, with data automation and reporting to support performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field with up to 1–4 years of experience.
• Strong SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines, and database management experience.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and evaluation tasks.
• Ability to apply existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Excellent organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex queries that pull and curate data from multiple sources.
• Develop data dashboards and assets including scripts, tables, workflows, and reporting.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve problems.
• Define basic data requirements and gather information using statistical tests.
• Use Python and open-source tools to plan models and extract insights.
• Develop data models, automation systems, and reporting metrics.
• Create ad-hoc reporting from existing data sources.
• Communicate data stories to business lines with rigor.
• Ensure data quality and integrity of sources.
• Collaborate with agile team to improve processes and communicate recommendations.
• Lead by example and embody CBRE RISE values.
