Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Analyst in Carson City, NV to perform basic analysis and ensure findings are backed by data research. You will contribute to business intelligence within the Data Science & Analytics function.

You will use SQL and Python to develop queries, dashboards, data models, and ad-hoc reports, collaborating with an agile team to improve data quality and processes. 1–4 years of relevant experience and a CS-related degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field with up to 1–4 years of experience.
• Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines, and database management systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and evaluation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL and other scripting languages to develop and maintain complex queries pulling data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and assets including scripts, tables, workflows, and reporting systems.
• Apply modeling and optimization methods to improve business performance.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on existing data sources.
