Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Analyst to perform basic analyses that back business conclusions with data research and findings. Role sits within Digital & Technology / Data Science & Analytics, focusing on data-driven insights and BI development.

You will pull data from multiple sources using SQL, build dashboards, and apply modeling techniques to improve performance. Collaboration with an agile team is essential, with adherence to CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IS or related field with up to 4 years of experience.
• Strong SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines, and database management systems experience.
• Proficient Python for data analysis and evaluation tasks.
• Ability to use established procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and making judgments using standard practices.
• Good organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL and scripting languages to develop and maintain complex queries pulling data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and assets including scripts, tables, workflows, and processes.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve problems.
• Define data requirements and gather information using judgment and tests.
• Use Python and open-source tools to plan models and extract insights.
• Apply modeling/optimization methods to improve business performance.
• Develop data models, automation systems, low-code solutions, and reporting metrics.
• Create ad-hoc reports from existing data sources.
• Present data stories with rigor and clarity to business lines.
• Ensure quality and integrity of data sources.
• Collaborate with agile team to improve processes and programs.
• Lead by example with CBRE RISE values.
