Job summary

Clarium is hiring a Data Analyst to turn raw data into decisions, partnering with teams across the business to build queries, models, and dashboards that reveal what’s happening and why.

You will write and optimize SQL, use Python to clean and analyze data, and independently surface trends and opportunities to inform product and customer success decisions. This fully remote role supports a distributed team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in an analytics, data, or business intelligence role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL — comfortable with joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization against large tables.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis (e.g. pandas, NumPy, Jupyter)
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases; PostgreSQL and Snowflake strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Git for version control — branching, pull requests, and collaborating on a shared codebase
• Demonstrated ability to work independently — scoping your own analyses from a vague business question, and proactively identifying what's worth investigating without being handed a spec
• Track record of building dashboards and reporting that others rely on
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL to extract, join, and aggregate data across large relational datasets
• Use Python to clean, transform, and analyze data that doesn't fit neatly into a query
• Independently explore datasets to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities the business hasn't thought to ask about yet
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that stakeholders actually use
• Partner with product and customer success teams to scope ambiguous questions into answerable analyses
• Investigate data quality issues and work with engineering to resolve them at the source
• Document data definitions, metrics, and methodology so results are reproducible and trusted
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
