Job summary

ECRI is seeking a Data Analyst to advance biomedical data quality and provide enterprise BI solutions. You will partner with IT and business teams to deliver insights, support MDM operations, and sustain data integrity across platforms like Semarchy, Contentful, and BigQuery.

The role emphasizes hands-on data analysis, ETL, and Power BI delivery. You will contribute to governance and analytics initiatives, enabling data-driven decisions while supporting a remote-friendly work environment and

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in data analysis, BI, data quality, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with SQL and a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience with Power BI, including report development and data modeling.
Experience with data quality assessment, data cleansing, and remediation techniques.
Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) platforms is desirable.
Experience with CLI-based tooling for data extraction and automation is preferred.
Familiarity with ETL concepts and lightweight data pipelines.
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or a regulated industry is a plus.
Knowledge of data governance, data cataloging, or metadata management is a plus.
Experience using Jira or similar issue tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Operate and support the Master Data Management platform (Semarchy) and related configuration.
Assist data stewardship, match/merge review, survivorship, and master records validation.
Develop and maintain ETL scripts and data transformation logic for ingestion.
Monitor data integrations, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with IT.
Document data mappings, rules, and changes to maintain a current data dictionary.
Support onboarding of new source systems into the master domain as the footprint grows.
Develop and maintain metrics and analytics for Content assets using CLI tooling.
Profile and validate content metadata for taxonomy migration and classification.
Contribute to Power BI reporting, workspace management, and report lifecycle.
Create reusable BigQuery views and SQL data models for reporting and analytics.
Validate data quality, perform row-count/null checks, and ensure referential integrity.
Prepare structured datasets for analytical, AI/ML, and evaluation use cases.
