Shield HealthCare in Valencia, CA is seeking a Data Analyst to support business operations by developing advanced data driven models, analyzing data sets, and delivering reports and dashboards to drive informed decision making and improved cash collection, write-offs, and Accounts Receivable balance.

Qualifications

• BS in Business, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of data analysis, reporting, and large data set experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel Expert), Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, multi-layer IFs, lookups; VBA a plus.
• Experience writing AS400/SQL queries and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain advanced models with complex formulas and business rules.
• Extract data using queries from AS400/SQL data management systems.
• Partner with internal departments to improve operational performance and models.
• Develop and prepare customized reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare management reports that highlight operational results and trends.
• Enhance order review to improve cash collection and reduce write-offs.
• Assist in implementing new software solutions as needed.
• Handle multiple priorities with deadlines and ensure follow-up.
• Support creation and preparation of company dashboards.
• Complete special projects supporting team and organizational goals.
