DKKD Staffing is hiring a Data Analyst (IT/Business Analyst) to work 100% onsite in Valencia, CA. You will build advanced Excel-based data models, extract data from AS400/SQL, and deliver reports and dashboards focused on healthcare operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of data analysis experience, exceptional Excel/VBA skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: US Citizen or Permanent/Green Card holder
• Education: BS in Business, Finance, CS or equivalent
• Experience: 3-5 years in data analysis and reporting with large datasets
• Microsoft 365 proficiency: Excel (Expert), Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams
• Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, multi-layer IF statements, lookup formulas; VBA is a plus
• Query experience: AS400/SQL or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Very Excel-heavy: VBA macros, formulas, data management, SQL

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain advanced data models using complex formulas and business rules
• Extract data using queries from AS400/SQL systems
• Partner with internal departments to improve operational performance and refine models
• Develop and prepare customized reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare management reports highlighting operational results and trends

The Data Analyst (IT/ Business Analyst) role at DKKD Staffing is based in Valencia (Santa Clarita), CA 91355 and requires 100% onsite daily. The position supports healthcare business operations by building advanced Excel-based data models, extracting and analyzing data from AS400/SQL, and delivering reports and dashboards focused on operational performance.

Location & Work Setup

Location: Valencia (Santa Clarita), CA 91355
Onsite requirement: 100% onsite daily (no exceptions)

The role requires that you currently live within 45 minutes of the work location. There is also a note indicating you should already live locally or have family or friends who live within 30 minutes of Valencia, CA.

Compensation

Salary: USD 70,000 - 90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain advanced models (Excel or other applications) using complex formulas and business rules
• Extract data using queries from AS400 (or SQL) data management systems
• Partner with internal departments to improve operational performance and refine models over time
• Develop and prepare customized reports for internal and external stakeholders, clearly presenting findings
• Prepare management reports highlighting operational results and trends
• Enhance order review accuracy to improve cash collection rate, reduce write-offs, and lower Accounts Receivable balance
• Assist in the implementation of new software application solutions as needed
• Handle multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines, ensuring follow-up and closure
• Support creation and preparation of company dashboards
• Complete special projects assigned to support team and organizational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Eligibility: US Citizen or Permanent / Legal Resident Green Card
• Education: BS in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and working with large data sets
• Microsoft 365 proficiency: Excel (Expert), Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, multi-layer IF statements, lookup formulas; VBA is a plus
• Query experience: writing queries in AS400/SQL or similar systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail, including ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to changing business needs, and meet critical deadlines
• Very Excel heavy, including near expert level use of VBA macros, formulas, data management, and SQL
