Job summary

FirstEnergy, headquartered in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Transmission Portfolio Management analyst to support forecasting and reporting for key portfolio components. You will build financial and operational reports, validate data, and partner with internal teams to align priorities and ensure on-time project delivery.

You will analyze data for risks and opportunities, assist in budgets and schedules, and develop concise executive presentations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant experience (7+ without degree)
• Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Oracle, or QlikView preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate financial and operational reports.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity through regular validation and updates.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and processes.
• Serve as a liaison to facilitate clear communication across teams.
• Develop concise, executive-level presentations.
• Utilize SAP, Sage, Navigator, HVK, OPPM, Ecosys, and Unifier to generate reports.
• Identify and implement reporting automation and process improvements.
• Provide insights to support project planning, forecasting, budgeting and schedule performance.
