Job summary

MSU Texas is seeking a Data Analyst II within the Office of Institutional Effectiveness to manage requests, develop reports, and deliver certified institutional data to campus stakeholders through user-friendly methods.

The role requires working with Banner SIMS and the campus data warehouse, supporting accreditation efforts, and coordinating with IT and campus leaders to meet reporting deadlines with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in analytics/computer field.
• Master’s degree and statistical analysis preferred.
• Experience with data reporting and metric calculations in higher ed contexts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage online data request portal and logging of requests.
• Develop and process reports; create dashboards for user interaction.
• Manage online portal of Power BI reports and ensure data accuracy.
