Job summary

Lake County is seeking a Research Analyst to support judicial operations through data analysis, program evaluation, and research development. You will aid in evidence-based practice implementation, develop data-driven solutions, and help reduce recidivism by informing decisions with robust analytics.

Responsibilities include data collection, QA, and reporting across multiple systems; collaboration with partners; and leading projects to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with courses in research design and methods.
• Master's degree preferred with related experience.
• Prior research experience in criminal justice or court settings is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and statistical tools for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide business and operational support for court systems and performance measures.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data, presenting findings to support decisions.
• Develop research priorities and evaluate programs for fidelity to best practices.
• Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders on projects.
