Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analysis or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of data experience; healthcare data preferred.

• Experience conducting QA, data validation, and analysis for accurate reporting.

In this Data Analyst II role, you will help teams turn healthcare and operational datasets into reliable dashboards, analyses, and shared definitions that support quality, safety, and patient-focused initiatives.

Role focus

You will report to the High Reliability Organization (HRO) Analytics Manager and support a cross-functional group delivering clinical data products across Quality, Safety, Health Equity, Community Health, Patient Experience, Provider Wellbeing, Credentialing, Pharmacy, and Formulary. The work involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting data that informs daily operations, strategic planning, and business performance decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report data to support daily operations, strategic planning, and business performance decisions.
• Collate, model, interpret, and analyze healthcare and operational data.
• Identify trends, explain variances, and communicate findings clearly to appropriate audiences.
• Develop and maintain exploratory analyses, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in partnership with analytics engineers and visualization developers.
• Create clear business definitions and documentation for data products.
• Complete thorough quality assurance procedures to support accuracy, reliability, trustworthiness, and validity of work.
• Perform source-to-target data validation for dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to define needs, align on priorities, and support strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analysis or a related field is required.
• Experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 2–3 years of experience working with data required; healthcare data experience preferred.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, data visualization, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
• Experience conducting quality assurance, data validation, and analysis to support accurate reporting.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Healthcare knowledge related to electronic medical record data is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of statistical analyses, including variance analysis and statistical significance, is preferred.
• Project management skills or experience are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
