Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a collaborative Business Analyst to empower teams with data for operational decisions. You will translate business needs into reporting requirements, support reporting tools, and ensure accuracy and usability of reports.

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders, manage requests, and help deliver reliable information across Finance IS, MGPO Finance, MGH, and MGB. Prior BI experience and healthcare data knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including gathering requirements and presenting findings.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to build productive relationships with peers, users, and leadership.
• Knowledge of Epic, IPORT, and Revenue Cycle data and healthcare reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather and prioritize data and reporting requests.
• Serve as key contact for BI requests, including intake, coordination, and follow-up.
• Translate business rules and workflows into clear reporting specs for developers.
• Coordinate project queues and resource planning, tracking work in Workfront.
• Support full reporting lifecycle: requirements, planning, validation, testing, rollout, and training.
• Validate reporting solutions to meet user requirements and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, vendors, and users to deliver reliable information.
