Job summary

The City of Tucson Police Department is seeking a Data Analyst I to design, build, and maintain BI reporting and data analysis that informs operational decisions. You will work under an Analysis Supervisor, with no supervisory responsibilities, contributing to dashboards and analytical projects across the department.

Responsibilities

• Assists with creating and maintaining BI solutions and dashboards on digital visualization platforms.
• Researches issues related to programming languages, data visualization platforms, and statistical methodologies.
• Identifies BI, reporting, and analytics needs by turning data into critical information.
• Assists with relational databases, GIS software, and statistical programs to provide information to stakeholders.
• Provides analytical insights to inform operations and decision-making.
