Job summary

City of Tucson Water Department is seeking a Data Analyst II to manage GIS data and QAQC for editors. The role enables data-driven decisions through dashboards and new data services, working under supervision.

Responsibilities include geospatial analyses, database management, ETL, cross-functional collaboration, and data visualization for diverse audiences. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years’ experience are required.

• Two years of relevant experience.
• Equivalency may substitute education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform geospatial analyses to improve operations.
• Maintain and create relational databases with versioning.
• Provide QAQC oversight for GIS editors' work.
• Use ETL tools to combine large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on spatial data projects.
• Inform operations with statistical patterns and insights.
• Publish data visualizations and reports for varied audiences.
• Develop and review SOPs and support special projects.
