Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Quality & Engineering Data Analyst to deliver scalable reporting and analytics by building Python applications, Qlik Sense dashboards, and automated Excel reporting. You will translate business requirements into clear technical specs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create structured data assets for Quality and Engineering analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards, Excel reporting, and Business Objects outputs to deliver accurate, validated KPIs.
• Develop forecasting and predictive analytics models using Python to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop clear, executive-ready data visualizations and reporting materials for leadership.
• Analyze warranty, returns, voice of customer data, and engineering project data to identify trends and improvements.
• Build and automate recurring data pipelines using Power Query, Power Pivot, Excel automation, and SQL as needed.
• Redesign legacy manual reports to improve efficiency and standardization.
• Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Apply foundational statistical methods to assess quality and performance.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing; advise on data structure and reporting best practices.
