The opportunity

We are expanding our Data & Analytics team within FSO and are seeking Business Analysts and Data Analysts with financial services experience and a passion for technology & data. Whether you are starting your career or seeking a managerial role, we want to hear from you.

Your key responsibilities

1. Perform business and technical analysis of current systems
2. Gather and document business and technical requirements for new solutions
3. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders
4. Collaborate with Technical and Solution Architects to ensure design standards are met
5. Translate requirements into user stories and process flows
6. Conduct data profiling and analysis
7. Ensure requirements traceability from analysis to design
8. Work with the team to ensure comprehensive test coverage
9. Present data visually through graphs, charts, and tables; design relational databases
10. Prepare data reports and visualizations for decision-making

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong SQL skills for data interrogation
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with architects
• Proven ability to document requirements effectively

Minimum qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry (asset management, private banks, wealth management, sovereign funds, pension funds, private equity, hedge funds). More experience may qualify for a Manager role.
• Educational background in Data & Analytics, Engineering, IT, Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
• Knowledge of platforms like Aladdin Blackrock / eFront, SimCorp Dimension, Temenos WealthSuite, Avaloq is a plus
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and adapt to demanding environments

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
