Location: Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH - REMOTE

Description of Services

The 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, is the first human-centric warfare wing to consolidate human performance research, education, and consultation under a single organization. Established under the Air Force Research Laboratory, the 711 HPW comprises the Human Effectiveness Directorate (RH) and the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). The Wing provides unparalleled capability to the Air Force through world-class infrastructure and a diverse workforce of military, civilian, and personnel across 75 occupational specialties, including science and engineering, occupational health and safety, medical professions, technicians, educators, and business operations and support.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 0730-1630

Mandatory Requirements

• Possess an MPH, MS, or PhD in Epidemiology, Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a similar degree approved by USAFSAM/FESO.
• Advanced analytical skills, including visual analytics in population health and health data surveillance.
• Ability to design, conduct, and lead data analysis of operational studies on health surveillance data, health records, and relevant military records to reduce negative health outcomes in the USAF total force.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Current Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) training.
• Current Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training.
• Capacity to learn new analytical tools such as Tableau, Python, R, SAS Viya, Power BI, or Qualtrics.
• Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with their company, to be provided to the Government Program Manager at start of performance.

Highly Desired Requirements

• Experience in health analytics and working with USAF-related data is preferred.
