Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Data Analyst to transform engineering and operational data into insights that support decision-making across the business. You will work with the Data Exploitation Team and stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions, create dashboards, and communicate findings clearly.

Role requires strong Python/SQL coding, analytical problem-solving, and a degree in a related field; eligibility for SC security clearance is essential to work on national security related

Qualifications

• Experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong coding capability using Python and/or SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Experience using data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
• Ability to communicate analytical outputs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analysing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Delivering analytical support and insights for projects undertaken by the Data Exploitation Team.
• Creating reports, dashboards and data visualisations that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Supporting data quality, validation activities and continuous improvement of analytical processes and tools.
