Job summary

Systems Planning & Analysis seeks a Data Analytics Engineer to support US Army Financial Management Command initiatives. You will extract and prepare data (DJMS, IPPS-A), build scalable analytics, and develop Power BI dashboards for decision support.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders, ensure security clearances, and deploy robust analytics solutions with thorough documentation for end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, CS, IS, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of Power Platform development (Apps, Automate, BI).
• 3+ years of SQL experience.
• 3+ years of Python experience.
• Experience with Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Familiarity with Army Vantage and data cleansing/prep/translation.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements.
• Design scalable analytics solutions and data models.
• Extract data from source systems (DJMS, IPPS-A, etc.).
• Load data into Databricks warehouse and clean for analysis.
• Build datasets for dashboards and reports.
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT) and deploy to production.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and user guides for solutions.
