Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to support secure data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and analytics-ready datasets for mission-critical programs. You will work with Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems, and related platforms to process structured and unstructured data in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

This on-site role at Scott AFB, IL requires a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance and a strong background in Python, SQL, data modeling,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
3+ years of data engineering, software development, or analytics experience.
Strong Python and SQL skills with data validation, modeling, and data quality practices.
Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
Understanding of version control, testing, documentation, and Agile development.
Ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Active US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain secure data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets.
Process structured and unstructured data using Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, or comparable platforms.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to fulfill data requirements.
