A capable Data Analyst with confidence and initiative, capable of both independent work and seamless collaboration within an expanding team. Your role will involve crafting, testing, and maintaining data architectures to drive specific product development initiatives and project requirements, all within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In this hybrid role, you'll have the flexibility to work from home and in the office, adapting to the needs of each project. However, you should be prepared for occasional travel to customer locations in the UK and abroad, depending on project requirements.

If you're ready to join a team that's shaping the future of data-driven solutions, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets to derive actionable insights and inform decision- making processes.
  • Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract meaningful patterns and trends from data.
  • Conduct thorough data cleaning, manipulation, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Utilise programming languages and tools to perform exploratory data analysis and generate reports and visualisations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in database querying languages like SQL, with experience in data manipulation and extraction.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply statistical methods and analytical techniques to solve complex problems.
  • Experience working with large datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data analysis such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools and techniques to present insights effectively.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning and predictive modelling – from defence, aerospace, sports, or similar domains/fields.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Certifications related to data analysis or relevant technologies.
  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

You may occasionally be required to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays and will be required to gain UK level Security Clearance. Due to the nature of the work a driving licence is preferable.
