Job summary

Syracuse University is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Cuse Athletics Fund's data and analytics strategy within CRM platforms, database development, and fundraising analytics.

The role collaborates with university advancement and athletics colleagues to define business objectives, organize marketing campaigns, and provide real-time reporting on campaign progress and gift performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required with 3–4 years of experience.
• Experience in Collegiate Athletics or higher education preferred.
• Strong data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for analysis and reporting; ETL and data transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for CRM systems including Data Insights and Blackbaud.
• Manage partnerships between athletic development and university advancement data teams.
• Support data and analytics management for the Cuse Athletics Fund.
• Automate web form processes for lead generation, data acquisition, and notifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
